[Introduction]
Propolis comes from the substance like natural resin, which is collected by the bees from exudates of plants branches and bud the chemical substances of Propolis are found to be various, such as beeswax, resin, incense lipids, aromatic oil, fat-soluble oils, pollen and other organic matter. Studies have shown that the source of propolis resin in material has three types: bees collected plants secreted fluid, secretion in vivo metabolism of bee, and involvement in the process of forming the material.
We can supply Propolis Extract with food-grade and medicine-grade .The raw materiall is came from non-polluting food grade propolis .Propolis extract was made of high-grade propolis. It maintains the propolis effective ingredients during the procedure of extraction under constant low temperature , taking off the useless substances and sterilization.
[Function]
Propolis is a natural product processed by bees mixed with glutinous and its secretion.
Propolis contains more than 20 kinds of useful flavonoids, rich vitamins, enzymes, amino acids and other microelements, etc. Propolis is called “purple gold” owing to its valued nutrients.
Propolis can remove free radical, lower blood sugar and blood fat, soften blood vessels, improve micro-circulation, enhance immunity, anti-bacteria and anti-cancer.

All of these frequencies, and the effects they have on the brain have been studied by scientists over the past 40 years, mainly accredited to Robert Monroe of The Monroe Institute. From the extensive research done and on the strength of Monroes’ findings, he concluded that inducing brainwave frequencies through the use of binaural beats causes a wide range of effects. But Monroe is definitely not alone in his findings. There are lots of other scientists that have also noted that these lower brainwave frequencies are accompanied by deep tranquility, flashes of creative insight, euphoria, intensely focused attention, enhanced learning abilities, spiritual awareness, and so much more.
How to use binaural beats:
Find a comfortable place free of distractions. It’s important not to listen to binaural beats when you need to do something that requires your full attention like driving. Avoid any tasks that are mentally demanding because the meditative state is not conducive to quick, action-oriented critical thinking.
Listen to binaural beats when you want to relax, clear your mind, get your creative juices flowing, engage your intuition to help solve problems and for personal development work such as repeating affirmations and doing visualization.
Be sure to give yourself enough listening time! The brain requires about 7 minutes to entrain, or fall in sync, with the audio stimulus. Give yourself at least 15-30 minutes of listening time to experience the benefits.
You must use stereo headphones for binaural beats to work. Why? Because the ‘beats’ themselves are created in your brain The word binaural means “having or relating to two ears.” It works like this: each ear receives a slightly different frequency at the same time, and the brain perceives the tone that is the difference of the two. If 210 Hz pulses into one ear and 200 into the other, the brain will process the two sounds into a 10 Hz frequency, which happens to be the same frequency produced by the brain during meditation.
QAAFI Science Seminar
Presented by Prof. Mike Gidley
Director of Centre for Nutrition & Food Sciences at QAAFI
ABSTRACT
Plant cell walls and associated polysaccharides (a.k.a. dietary fibre) play a pivotal role in the digestion of a healthy diet, mostly as the defining structural characteristic of whole grains, fruits, nuts, and vegetables. Credible hypotheses can be constructed to link cell wall properties of these plant-based foods to reduction in risk factors for major non-communicable diseases.
The physical properties of plant cell wall polysaccharide components relevant to digestive tract functionality can be grouped into (i) bulk structuring, (ii) transport barriers, and (iii) molecular binding. Examples of each type of functionality from both in vitro and in vivo studies will be presented.
The conventional sub-division of dietary fibre into soluble and insoluble types disguises the reality that the physical form of plant cell walls in digesta is typically intermediate between the extremes of dissolved polymers and non-swollen solid particles which are often used to exemplify soluble and insoluble fibre fractions. An alternative method of categorising dietary fibres is proposed based on a combination of particle/molecule size and effective density.
About Prof. Mike Gidley
Prof. Gidley obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry, at the University of London in 1977 and went on to complete his PhD in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge in 1982.
Before establishing CNAFS in 2003 (a joint initiative between UQ and the Queensland Government), Prof. Gidley worked for Unilever Research in the United Kingdom for more than 20 years, beginning as a research scientist and culminating as the Group Leader for Plant-based Foods and Ingredients.
Prof. Gidley’s major research interest is the linking of plant molecular structures to macroscopic properties with relevance to plant-based food properties. In particular, Prof. Gidley is interested in investigating polysaccharide assemblies such as plant cell walls (as part of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Plant Cell Walls and starch granules, particularly the way these structures are assembled in nature and then disassembled during manufacturing and later during digestion.
Prof. Gidley’s field of research involves the use of spectroscopic, microscopic and materials analyses of natural materials and model systems. Insights into structure-property relationships are obtained and can then be used to provide targets for raw materials and processes with enhanced food and nutritional properties.
