[What is green tea extract]

Green tea is the second largest beverage demanded by consumers worldwide. Used in China and India for its medicinal effects. There are several compounds extracted from green tea including catechins which contain an enormous amount of hydroxyphenols that are easily oxidized, congregated and contracted, which explains its good anti-oxidation effect. Its anti-oxidation effect is 25-100 times as strong as those of vitamin C and E.

It is widely used in medicines, agriculture, and chemical and food industries. This extract prevents cardio-vascular disease, lowers the risk of cancer, and decreases blood sugar and blood pressure, as well as viruses. In the food industry, the anti-oxidation agent used for preserving food and cooking oils.

Recipe;
2 cups of olive or almond oil (Not included)
1 tsp echinacea root
2 tablespoons comfrey leaf
2 tablespoons of plantain leaf (herb-not banana!)
1 tablespoon of calendula flowers
1 teaspoon yarrow flowers
1 teaspoon of rosemary leaf
1/4 cup beeswax pastilles (Not included)
1/2 tsp grapefruit seed extract or vitamin E oil to preserve (Not included, but not needed)
How to Make Healing Salve:
1. Infuse the herbs into the olive oil. There are two ways to do this. You can either combine the herbs and the olive oil in a jar with an airtight lid and leave 3-4 weeks, shaking daily OR heat the herbs and olive oil over low heat in a double boiler for 3 hours until the oil is very green.
2. Strain the herbs out of the oil by pouring through cheesecloth. Let all the oil drip out and then squeeze the herbs to get the remaining oil out.
3. Discard the herbs.
4. Heat the infused oil in a double boiler with the beeswax until melted and mixed. Add if desired 1/2 tsp grapefruit seed extract or vitamin E oil to preserve when slightly cooled. Be carful not to let the salve cool off to much before adding.
5. Pour into small tins, glass jars or lip chap tubes and use on bites, stings, cuts, poison ivy, diaper rash or other wounds as needed.

Cellulase is any of several enzymes produced chiefly by fungi, bacteria, and protozoans that catalyze cellulolysis, the decomposition of cellulose and of some related polysaccharides; specifically, the hydrolysis of the 1,4-beta-D-glycosidic linkages in cellulose, hemicellulose, lichenin, and cereal beta-D-glucans. Cellulases break down the cellulose molecule into monosaccharides such as beta-glucose, or shorter polysaccharides and oligosaccharides. The name is also used for any naturally occurring mixture or complex of various such enzymes, that act serially or synergistically to decompose cellulosic material.
Most mammals have only very limited ability to digest dietary fibres such as cellulose, by themselves. Important example are, the cellulase produced mainly by symbiotic bacteria in ruminants like cattle and sheep and in hindgut fermenters like horses that allows them to digest the cellulose from their grass diet. Cellulases are also produced by a few other types of organisms, such as some termites.
