[What is Curcuma Longa?]

Turmeric is an herbaceous plant known scientifically as Curcuma longa. It belongs to the Zingiberaceae family, which includes ginger. Tumeric has rhizomes rather than true roots, which are the primary source of commercial value for this plant. Tumeric originates from southwest India, where it has been a stable of Siddha medicine for thousands of years. It is also a common spice in Indian cuisine and is often used as flavoring for Asian mustards.

Ginkgo biloba ‘Mariken’ is a very recent introduction, discovered in The Netherlands in the mid 1990′s, and named after a famous historical statue close by. The growth is very slow and incredibly compact eventually forming a spherical mass of leaves. This is one the best of the dwarf Ginkgos for container cultivation.

Shaktivel (Nani), on the other hand, has no real aim in life. As a final year college student of Madras University, he whiles away his life having fun with his friends.

A chance and opportune meeting or fate brings the two of them together on a tumultuous journey where they become partners in their very own wedding planning business.

The rules however are clear: Business and romance can never go hand in hand.

Together, their friendship and business, enters the ups and down of the lavish Chennai weddings. And while trying to find themselves, Shruti and Shakti discover each other and realize that rule book cannot be followed always.
