Pumpkin Sweet & Sour
Pumpkin is a simple vegetable we all eat it. Because of its yellow colour it has vitamin D.
It has low calorie. Diabetic people can also eat it.
Ingredients
1 Pumpkin……………………………………..250 grams cut into pieces.
2 Grapes………………………………………..1/2 cup.
3 Tomato………………………………………..1 small chopped.
4 Onion…………………………………………..1 small chopped.
5 Coriander leaves to garnish………………. as required
6 Oil………………………………………………..1 1/2 table sp.
7 Whole red chillis……………………………….3, few curry leaves.
8 Turmeric powder………………………………1/2 tsp.
9 Red chilli powder………………………………1 tsp.
10 Garam masala powder………………………2 pinch.
11 Salt to…………………………………………. taste.
12 Ginger & garlic paste……………………….1/2 tsp.
13 Heeng…………………………………………..2 pinch.
14 Fenugreek seeds…………………………….10-12.
15 Cumin seeds…………………………………..1/4 tsp.
16 Mustard seeds few……………………………as required
17 Lemon juice…………………………………….1/4 tsp.
Method
1) Put a wok add oil heat it add cumin, mustard and fenugreek seeds, break chiilis and add, add heeng and curry leaves.
2 ) Add onion and fry till it turns golden brown add ginger and garlic, turmeric powder, chilli powder garam masala powder and tomatoes.
3) Fry well till tomatoes cooks well add grapes cut or as a whole.
4 ) Add pumpkin pieces and add salt. Cover the lid, cook till it is done. Open it and check it.
