Tired of spending all your money at Starbucks for the many delicious pumpkin spiced seasonal goodies? Well we can help satisfy at least one of those cravings with our simple pumpkin spice biscotti recipe!
Here’s what you’ll need:
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
3 Eggs
3/4 Cup Corn Meal
1 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Kosher Sea Salt
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Pumpkin Spice
Butter
3/4 Cup Pumpkin Seeds
Pumpkin Sugar
2 Large Mixing Bowl
Mixer/Whisk
Baking Sheet
Parchment Paper
Basting Brush
As always, preheat your oven! This recipe calls for 325 degrees.
Start by pouring 2 cups of flour, 3/4 cup corn meal, 1 1/2 Tsp baking powder, 1 Tbsp pumpkin spice, and 1 Tsp salt into your mixing bowl.
In your other mixing bowl crack 3 eggs and 1 cup of brown sugar. You can hand mix this but an electric mixer will save you time and effort as you want to beat it until it’s very light and fluffy. Slowly add your dry ingredients from the other bowl and continue to mix.
Mix in as many or as few pumpkin seeds as you’d like then let rest for 5 minutes.
After your dough has rested, lay down some parchment paper on your baking pan then form some dough into a large oval shaped log. It should be roughly 9 inches by 3 inches and if you’d like to cook more than one at a time, make sure they are evenly spaced throughout the pan.
Cook for 35 minutes or until lightly browned then remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
Using a serrated knife, cut the log crosswise into 3/4 inch thick diagonal slices. Beat one egg and use a brush to lightly coat each slice. Powder lightly with your pumpkin sugar then pop back into the oven for another 25 minutes or until golden brown.

What is Acai Berry? For more information please visit us at https://www.amazonpower.com.au
The fruit Açaí (Euterpe Oleracea), pronounced (ah-sigh-ee) is a delicious Brazilian berry that tastes like a mouth watering blend of berries and chocolate. The Açaí fruit is a berry – small, round and blackish-purple in colour. Açaí is only found high on top of palm trees in the Amazon rainforest of South America.
The indigenous people of the Amazon region believe that Açaí has amazing healing and nutritional properties. For centuries, they have revered this berry as an antidote for many ailments.
Clinical studies have shown that Açaí may be the most nutritious and powerful resources of the “Super Fruits” of the planet, providing many health benefits.
Amazon Power Açaí nourishes both body and mind, providing balanced nutrition, sustained energy and mental focus with its naturally occurring nutrients.
It can be tasted either eating or drinking. Traditionally Açaí is consumed blended with guarana served in a bowl with Toasted Muesli to be put on top at your own taste.
The Power of Açai?
While many different berry and fruit juices are available on the market, Amazon Power Açaí contains the most complete range of vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids. Açaí contains Vitamin B1 (Thiamine), Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Vitamin B3 (Niacin), Vitamin C, Vitamin E (tocopherol), iron, potassium, phosphorus and calcium. It also contains the essential fatty acids of Omega 6 and Omega 9, all the essential amino acids, and it is an excellent source of protein.
So the nutritional content of Amazon Power Açaí really is amazing! However, what absolutely sets Açaí apart from other berry and fruit products is its high antioxidant content. Açaí has more than double the antioxidant power of blueberries and 30 times more Anthocyanins than in a glass of red wine. When compared to Noni and Mangosteen juice products, Açaí is 6 times more powerful when we look at antioxidant content. No other berry or fruit product can come close to matching the nutritional and antioxidant content of Açaí.
Scientific studies have now confirmed the super health benefits of the Açaí fruit. As a whole food by itself, Açaí would provide a remarkable source of balanced protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, essential vitamins and minerals. Açaí contains a dozen of the valuable Polyphenols. One of these, the anthocyanins, contributes the deep red, blue and purple colour to the fruit. Anthocyanins have many health benefits identified in several studies.
Nutritional Facts
•Oleic (Omega 9) – a monounsaturated essential fatty acid which helps to lower LDL (harmful cholesterol), while maintaining HDL (beneficial cholesterol). Fatty acids aid in the transport and absorption of fat-soluble vitamins i.e. Vitamins A, E, D, and K.
•Linoleic (Omega 6) – a polyunsaturated essential fatty acid which has also been found to lower LDL, while maintaining HDL.
•Açaí also contains many valuable Phytosterols. Sterols are compounds of plant cell membranes providing numerous benefits to the human body, namely the reduction of blood plasma cholesterol.
•Its energising value comes from the amount of fat that consists of unsaturated fatty acids. These acids have a substance that is highly active and acts in the blood circulation thus eliminating the saturated fatty acids (which cause vein or artery obstruction) .
•The anthocyanin substance is one protein contained in the fruit which has the property of dissolving solid and saturated fatty acids, responsible for the cholesterol and the arteriosclerosis.
•The Açaí is rich in fibre that helps the digestive system. Low fibre consumption in the Western diet is thought to be a contributing factor to the high incidence of cancer and heart diseases.
