Introduction

Marigold flower belongs to compositae family and tagetes erecta. It is an annual herb and widely planted in Heilungkiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Yunnan , etc.The marigold we used comes from Yunnan province. Based on the local situation of special soil environment and lighting condition , the local marigold have characteristics like growing fast,long flowering period ,high productive capacity and adequate quality.Thus, the steady supply of raw materials, high yield and reduction of cost can be guaranteed.

3).Prevent cardiopathy and cancer and resist arteriosclerosis.

4).Prevent retina against oxidation when absorb light

Usage

(1)Applied in pharmaceutical health care product field, it is mainly used in vision care products to alleviate visual fatigue, prevent macular degeneration,and protect the health of eye

(2)Applied in cosmetics, it is mainly used to whitening, anti-wrinkle and UV protection.

Pollen Trap Sundance Bottom

This is something new to me. Just like anything else in beekeeping, there is only so much you can read before you just have to give it a whirl! I am very excited about this one. I’ve put it off for a long time, just trying to focus more on understanding the bees, and learning to work with them more effectively.

But it’s time to step it up a notch and see what else I can do. This pollen trap is a pretty cool little bolt on feature, and has a built in bypass, so if you want to stop collecting pollen you just drop the board. You don’t have to tear everything down to physically remove the trap.

Make sure you’re getting the right one. There are two versions of the Sundance trap, one for top mount and one for bottom mount. Get the one that fits where your bees are used to entering the hive. Some places refer to them as Sundance I and Sundance II but I couldn’t find that to be consistent, and some places didn’t label them I or II at all. So make sure you know you are getting the right one, even if that means you have to call the manufacturer!.

Anyway, like I said, I am very excited to give this a shot. From the reading and research I did, these Sundance traps seem to be a favorite among beekeepers. I hope I experience the same feeling!

I bought this trap from Betterbee. I searched around and prices vary, but so do shipping costs, so it was mostly a wash in the end where I bought it.
